Valencia fullback Jordi Alba denies touting himself to Barcelona.
Alba talked up the prospect of playing for Barca earlier this week.
"It is clear that for any player of Barcelona's youth squad their dream is to play for the club's first team," Alba declared. "I had to get on with my life elsewhere and Valencia gave me that opportunity, that is it.
"I was not disrespectful to Valencia in any moment and I did not say anything that was out of this world."
