Valencia are eyeing Celta Vigo midfielder Augusto Fernández.

TyC Sports says Fernández could become a Valencia player in the next few months.

The Celta Vigo midfielder is on the Mestalla club's agenda and, as indicated in Argentina, his transfer could be finalised for a fee of around €6m.

Valencia, who have signed Rodrigo Caio and are also seeking a new goalkeeper, also want to snap up a midfielder who can organise the play in the middle of the park and Fernández appears to fit the bill.
