According to a report published by talkSPORT, Valencia are interested in signing Manchester City defender Pablo Maffeo who is currently on the books of La Liga club Girona FC.

The 20 year old Maffeo recently impressed bysuccessfully managing to man mark Lionel Messi during a game for his team against Barcelona.

Considering that he is currently on his third loan spell with Girona, his long term future at City looks to be in doubt.

Valencia are reportedly interested in the defender and could potentially sign him at the end of the season.
