Valencia are chasing Real Mallorca striker Dani Guiza.
Los Che directors see Guiza as a readymade replacement for David Villa, who will leave for big-money this summer.
Some of the funds raised from Villa's sale will go towards landing the prolific Guiza, whose contract carries a £10 million buyout clause.
