Valencia defender Shkodran Mustafi returned to Sampdoria yesterday.

Mustafi attended Samp training.

"I spent three wonderful years here and remained very fond of everyone. I still have many friends here and every time I get the opportunity, I like to come back and see them," Mustafi told gianlucadimarzio.com.

"Like my Valencia, I don't think Sampdoria should set themselves any limits. In my view in football you can achieve anything if you plan well and do it the right way.

"Sampdoria have quality and everything necessary to reach an important objective."
