Liverpool have agreed a deal to sign Aly Cissokho on loan from Valencia. The 25-year-old left-back is expected on Merseyside next week to finalise a move which could become permanent next summer.
Reds boss Brendan Rodgers had wanted to sign another left-back, Guilherme Siqueira from Spanish club Granada, but the clubs failed to agree a fee.
