Manchester United midfielder Andreas Pereira is out for a month at Valencia.

Pereira will miss at least one month of action due to the injury he suffered in Thursday's Copa del Rey match at Barcelona, where Sergi Roberto planted a high boot on the young midfielder's leg.

He was replaced during that cup semi-final first leg and then tested on Friday.

"The player shows a post traumatic strain in the vastus intermediate, with a intramuscular bruise and a contusion in his left thigh," a Valencia club statement explained.
