Valencia coach Cesare Prandelli has weighed into the debate over a potential return to the Italy squad for Nice striker Mario Balotelli.

Prandelli, who worked with Balotelli as Italy coach, says he always believed in his potential.

"I have always believed that the naked and raw potential of Balotelli is one of the strongest in the world. He has to understand what he wants to do, if he wants to become stronger," began Prandelli.
