Valencia coach Mauricio Pellegrino says he's counting on Paco Alcacer this season.

There was talk of the Spain U19 striker being loaned out this season.

"Alcácer will remain in the squad. We have to help this young player. He has no history in any first team and excelled in the junior categories, but that does not mean he will stand out in the first team.

"We all need to help him so he copes with the step up," said Pellegrino.
