Valencia striker Alvaro Negredo struck a hat-trick as they thrashed Granada 4-0 in their Copa del Rey meeting on Wednesday.
Afterwards, Valencia coach Gary Neville confirmed that his team are heading in the right direction although he emphasized that there is still a lot of hard work to do done.
“In the second half we moved the ball around well and I pretty sure that we dominated possession", he said.
Neville wouldn't be drawn into making any comments about a possible new incorporation in the January window: “Talking about other players is a lack of respect for the players we already have in the squad", Neville said, adding that there was another positive to be taken from today's victory: “We've gone three games without any injuries and that's fundamental for us".
