Valencia coach Marcelino admits Cristiano Ronaldo was "crying" after being sent off on Wednesday night.
Ronaldo saw red on 29 minutes for a clash with Valencia defender Jeison Murillo, but Juventus still managed to win 2-0 thanks to two goals from Miralem Pjanic.
Marcelino remarked: "I did not see the dismissal, he was very affected, even crying because he said he had not done anything, in the noise I did not see anything and I did not have the opportunity to see it on television."
On the game, he continued: "The penalty was a hard blow, just when we reached the break we tried to rebuild the situation, we started well but the second penalty sentenced us.
"Against such experts and a withdrawn team it is very difficult.
"We have to compete at a higher level in the tackles and have more decision and daring."
