Valencia coach Marcelino has taken a swipe at Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba.

Marcelino can't believe France coach Didier Deschamps continues to prefer the out-of-form midfielder for Valencia's Geoffrey Kondogbia.

He said: "We saw Kondogbia play against Sevilla and we saw Pogba play against Sevilla... I think there are several players in the recent past in France who have a worse level than Kondogbia.

"If I were coach of France, I would have selected him.

"I have respect for other coaches, but as Valencia coach, I'm glad I have Kondogbia with us."
