Valencia coach Quique Sanchez Flores was happy with Manuel Fernandes' full debut in yesterday's victory over Real Valladolid.

The Portugal U21 international had complained in midweek over the lack of action he'd seen since signing for Los Che, but was given a chance by Flores last night.

The coach said: "We have three injured wingers and I thought it would be a good chance to see what he can do. Until the chaos of the second-half, I thought he played well."
