Valencia sports chief Miguel Angel Ruiz says they won't be rushed into making "an emergency" appointment to replace sacked coach Quique Sanchez Flores.

Jose Mourinho, Marcello Lippi and former Juventus boss Didier Deschamps have all been linked with the job in the last 24 hours and Ruiz said: "We must be calm and not rush.

"We're looking for a prestigious coach, someone long-term. A coach who has cache and has won many titles."
