New Valencia sports chief Rafael Salom has revealed there could be a future at the Mestalla for fans' favourites Miguel Angel Angulo, David Albelda and Santiago Canizares.

"That was a decision solely on (Ronald) Koeman, which the president accepted," said Salom in forceful terms. "In the hypothetical case of having another coach, he could decide they can return to play.

"Everyone are losers in this, but the most damaged are the footballers. My door is open to sit down with any of these three footballers and fix the problem."
