Valencia and Atletico Madrid have been alerted to the availability of Sporting Lisbon winger Simon Vukcevic.

The midfielder's agent, Zoran Stojadinovic, admitted yesterday that he was likely to quit Sporting in January and that "his future will be in either Germany or Spain".

Valencia and Atletico, both active in the Portuguese transfer market, have been following Vukcevic since last season and would jump at the chance of snapping up the winger.
