Valencia are interested in Olympique Marseille fullback Taye Taiwo.
The Nigeria international has been the subject of an inquiry from Valencia sports director Miguel Angel Ruiz this week.
Ruiz is considering Taiwo as a replacement for Asier del Horno, who is being made available this summer.
