Valencia all at sea with renewed sponsorship

Swiss cruise operator MSC Cruises has extended its sponsorship agreement with Valencia CF until the summer of 2014, reports SportsPro. The announcement, which came aboard MSC's ship the MSC Orchestra, will see the company's logo emblazoned on the left sleeve of Valencia's playing shirts for the next two La Liga seasons.

The agreement is an extension of the original sponsorship penned in 2011 however financial terms were not released.

On signing the extension, chief executive of MSC Cruises Emiliano Gonzalez said: "This renewal once again reinforce our commitment to the sport and one of the best football teams in the Spanish league. MSC Cruises has always been closely linked with Valencia, as a major shipping port in Spain."

Manuel Llorente, president of Valencia CF, expressed "satisfaction by continuing to promote the club after partnering with international sponsors such as MSC Cruises. The agreement, and above all its renewal, is a clear indicator that the Valencia CF and its sponsors are working very well, always with the common goal of getting better every season."
