Valencia are chasing Chelsea midfielder Oriol Romeu.

The Mirror says the Spanish side have offered Romeu a loan deal with a view to the player getting more playing time. An injury wrecked the Spaniard's season and robbed him of the chance to impress fellow countryman Rafa Benitez.

The feeling now is that a move away would be ideal for all parties, and negotiations have already taken place between the agent of Romeu, and senior Valencia officials, with the outcome extremely positive.
