Valencia ace David Villa says runaway La Liga leaders Barcelona are the best team in Europe.

"They're not only the best in Spain but the best on the continent," said Villa.

"For me, they're the team that has impressed me most, not only for their results but by how they have got them. Their play is worthy of praise and I feel a healthy envy towards them.

"It seems a bit difficult for them to lose the Liga. They'd have to lose four or five games and we'd have to win all of ours."

Villa knows with new Real Madrid elections set for the end of the season, his name will again be used by prospective candidates.

"I'm not worried," he insisted. "My club is Valencia."
