Former Brazilian star Valdo has spoken of the development of PSG attacker Lucas and Barcelona star Neymar.

Valdo admits the pair were regarded at the same level when they were first coming through in Brazil.

He recalled: "When I met Lucas, he was playing in Sao Paulo and Neymar in Santos.

"They were the two players all of Brazil was talking about. But Neymar is a case apart, so do not compare them.

"He has almost the level of (Lionel) Messi. There is one player every fifty years like him."
