Barcelona president Joan Laporta has singled out Victor Valdes for his heroics at Chelsea last night. The goalkeeper, who remains locked in new contract talks, managed to keep Barca in the Champions League semi before Andres Iniesta's injury-time equaliser.
"Iniesta has taken us to Rome with his goal, but there was also Victor Valdes with his saves," said Laporta. "Andres is an extraordinary talent and scored a goal to remember.
"The congratulations must go to all these players, especially because they have finished 10 against 11."
