Barcelona goalkeeper Victor Valdes says Marc Bartra deserves to be regarded as a first-choice.

The defender was excellent in victory at Celtic.

"He has played a great game, pressed the opponents very well and also joined the attack," said Valdes.

"He can be the centre-back for many years at Barca."
