Former Real Madrid GM Jorge Valdano says the Spanish giants should drop their pursuit of Tottenham star Gareth Bale.
Valdano watched Angel Di Maria and Mesut Ozil star in a 1-0 win over Granada and questioned the wisdom of replacing them with the Tottenham player.
He said: "If they gave me the choice I would put the Ozil-Di María pairing before Bale. I would certainly put Ozil before Bale, maybe between Bale and Di Maria there are more doubts."
