Real Madrid GM Jorge Valdano is convinced Mesut Ozil is destined for great things.
Valdano was pleased with the German's performance in victory over Racing Santander.
"Ozil is going to set the standard for the next decade at Real Madrid. He is the kind of player that Madrid loves. He even makes his opponents have fun," said Valdano, who also praised two-goal Karim Benzema.
[Karim] Benzema has exquisite clarity. He is young and maturing. We knew there was a great player inside Benzema and it is coming out."
