Former Real Madrid GM Jorge Valdano is a big fan of coach Carlo Ancelotti.
Valdano had left Real before Ancelotti's appointment.
The Argentine said: "He's an exemplary manager when it comes to taking a careful approach and being patient, and he has a natural ability to solve conflicts, Real Madrid have a manager that fits very well with the club's history. He's someone that can stand up for himself in tricky situations.
"He's a manager that places the club's interests first, even above his own, and that's something that I can admire. With the Casillas affair, I think that the public are being much more vocal than Ancelotti."
