Uzbekistan coach Mirdjalal Kasimov has prepared his side well for tonight's Asian Cup qualifier against UAE.

Despite his opposition defeating Malaysia 5-0 in their opening match, Kasimov is confident his team will produce a solid performance.

"I've watched the match of the UAE against Iran last November in the World Cup qualifiers and got an idea about the team," he said

"The match against the UAE is very important especially it is our first match in the group.

"We will approach the game carefully and we have prepared for it very well.

"The match will not be easy at all for us and we will do everything in order to get the necessary three points," he added.

"The UAE have good players and they will not be an easy team to beat. The game against the UAE is very important as it will be before our next match in the World Cup qualifiers against Bahrain and we hope that we can get a good result in both matches."
