Utrecht's technical director Foeke Booy has left the club to take up an offer from Saudi Arabian outfit Al-Nassr.

Booy had another year left on his contract with Utrecht, but he has now opted for a move to Saudi Arabia.

"We don't begrudge him his new challenge and it is a logical step in his career," said chairman Jan Willem van Dop on the club's website.

"Foeke has meant a lot for the club."
