Alisher Usmanov has decided against a confrontation with Arsenal directors at tomorrow's AGM.
The Sun says the Uzbek tycoon will now vote in support of the current set-up and will not demand a place on the board.
Usmanov and his company Red & White Holdings have failed in their efforts to acquire a 25 per cent blocking stake in the club in time.
And they are anxious to avoid a showdown with chairman Peter Hill-Wood.
