Alisher Usmanov continues to buy up shares in Arsenal. The Daily Mail says Usmanov is just one share away from taking his holding in Arsenal to a landmark 30 per cent.

It is expected that Usmanov, who doesn't have a seat on the board at the Emirates, is going to use the purchase of that next share to implore the club to start spending big money. However, the £40million-plus bid for Liverpool's Luis Suarez suggests the current regime are finally going to do that anyway.
