Arsenal major shareholder Alisher Usmanov insists he's not driving a deal for Palermo striker Paulo Dybala.

It was claimed last week that Usmanov had been in touch with Palermo and Dybala's agent about a move to London this summer.

"Contrary to what is reported in the media, I want to clarify that I have not had any formal or informal contact with Dybala, his agent or Palermo," Usmanov told Sportmediaset.

Usmanov holds 30 per cent of Arsenal, but has been kept at arm's length by the board.
