Major shareholder Alisher Usmanov says he continues to be frozen out by Arsenal's board.

Despite his desire to take control, any further involvement from Usmanov appears highly unlikely. The board remain firmly fixed on self-sustainability to fall in line with UEFA's Financial Fair Play regulations - a strategy that is the polar opposite of Usmanov's proposal.

"Arsenal don't seem to need me. I'm a strong man. If someone needs my help, my money, my know-how, I'm always ready," he said.
