Olympic sprint star Usain Bolt is sorry to see Cristiano Ronaldo leave Manchester United for Real Madrid.
Manchester United fan Bolt - in London for this weekend's Aviva Grand Prix at Crystal Palace - told the Daily Star: "I can't believe he went there!
"When I heard about it, I was wishing that was me! I was saying that because that's a big contract, a lot of money to go round."
Bolt became friends with Ronaldo after giving the winger tips on sprinting during a visit to United's training ground last May. But he is still confident United will survive without Ronaldo.
Bolt said: "He made his decision and it's sad he left, but we've got other guys who can score goals.
"I love football and I love United. I used to play but I'm no striker. I'm more of a defender or midfielder. I can't score goals."
