Lynden Gooch has signed a new three-year contract with Premier League club Sunderland.
The USA U20 international, who has been with the Black Cats academy since 2012, has signed on with the Wearside club until 2017.
Californian forward Gooch has stepped up to Sunderland's U21's this season after being a key part of the U18 setup last term.
Gooch is currently away in Marbella, Spain with the US U20 side preparing for the International National Teams Football Tournament.
