The US Men's National Team are still only aware of two opponents for the next round of the 2010 World Cup qualification process.

Coast Rica and El Salvador have qualified for the hexagonal stage with Mexico, Honduras, Jamaica, Guatemala and Trinidad and Tobago all fighting for the last three spots with one game to go.

The top two from each of the three groups will advance to the final hexagonal stage, from where three sides will qualify directly for South Africa 2010 and the fourth-placed team will take on the fifth-placed finisher in South American qualifying for a place at the world finals.
