The USA v Honduras World Cup qualifier will only be showed on closed circuit TV after ESPN and other outlets passed on the coverage, Washington Post reports.
The company who own the US rights to the match, Media World, has not been able to get the game on pay-per-view but have confirmed there is a possibility that a third party will purchase the rights to show the game on delay.
It is a bit of a kick in the guts for US football as the asking price for the game was less than a million dollars and ESPN and other outlets decided to leave themselves out of it.
