USA U20 international Vincenzo Bernardo is on trial with Kansas City Wizards according to reports.

The 19-year old has been on the search for a new club since leaving Italian outfit Napoli who he joined in 2006 as a youth team player.

Bernardo declined a two-year offer from the club and returned to America late last year as a free agent. He now gets his opportunity to impress a MLS club with the Wizards agreeing a trial.

The New Jersey native has represented the USA at both U17 and U20 levels and hopes to become a regular senior squad member in the future despite rumours he was hoping to follow the path of Giuseppe Rossi who was born in the USA but went to represent Italy.
