The USA national team will meet Russia in an international friendly next month.
Jurgen Klinsmann's US team will take on Fabio Capello's Russians in Krasnodar on November 14 as part of their preparations for World Cup qualifiers in February next year.
The US will take on Costa Rica, Honduras, Jamaica, Mexico and Panama in the fourth round of CONCACAF qualifying but the associations from all nations could not agree on a schedule which will now go into a draw to be conducted by FIFA if their next meeting on Friday does not produce a result.
