The USA national team will take on Chile in an international friendly in January it has been reported. Chile Football Federation president Harold Mayne-Nicholls confirmed that the national team will play one match in Chile in mid-January before taking on Cuba in Havana and then the USA in Los Angeles later in the month.

"We will surely play a game here in Chile in mid-January, we still have no rival, and almost with probability going to play 18 or 19 Cuba and the United States 22 or 23. One in Havana and the other in Los Angeles," Mayne-Nicholls said.
