USA set to complete record 2013 against Austria in Vienna

The USA squad to finish a record year on the international stage has been named to face Austria on Tuesday.

Juergen Klinsmann has put together a 21-man squad for the meeting with the Austrians at the Ernst-Happel-Stadion in Vienna which will complete a record-breaking calendar year for the Americans.

The US have won 16 matches, drawn three and lost three in what has been their best-ever year for results which also included qualifying for their seventh-straight World Cup and taking out the 2013 CONCACAF Gold Cup.

Klinsmann's side drew 0-0 with Scotland on Friday night in Glasgow which has allowed them to finish the year with the best winning percentage in history.

The USA is now 16-3-3 (.795) and will top the previous winning percentage record of .750 in 2005 (13-3-4) and 2012 (9-2-3) no matter the result of the Austria match.
