The Football Association of Ireland (FAI) has confirmed that the Republic of Ireland national team will meet the USA in a friendly in November.
Martin O'Neill's Irish side will host Juergen Klinsmann's Americans at the Aviva Stadium in Dublin on November 18 in their final fixture of 2014.
The match comes four days after Ireland take on Scotland in a 2016 European Championship qualifier in Glasgow.
The match will also be World Cup Round of 16 qualifier USA's final match of the calendar year after their friendlies against Czech Republic, Colombia and Ecuador in September and October.
