Everton goalkeeper Tim Howard has paid tribute to teammate Tim Cahill.

The USA face Australia today in their final World Cup tune-up match.

Howard said of Cahill: "Tim is the ultimate competitor. I always say he's miserable to play against and that makes him a fantastic teammate. He's a guy who is very fun-loving off the field, but every single game I've played with him at Everton he's been the first one to take the fight to the other team, to get stuck in, to push and shove and really push the tempo. He gives 100 percent of himself all the time, and it's great to have a teammate and friend like that."
