USA defender Cameron nets first Premier League goal for Stoke

Geoff Cameron was on target for the first time in a Premier League match on Sunday.

The 28-year old American defender tallied his first goal for Stoke City in the 26th minute of their 3-1 loss to Arsenal at the Emirates Stadium.

Cameron was on hand to neatly fire home from inside the area after Marko Arnautovic's effort had blasted back off the post, allowing the Potters to equalise following Aaron Ramsey's fifth-minute opener.

However, Stoke conceded on two more occasions with Per Mertesacker and Bacary Sagna sending Arsenal to the top of the Premier League table.

Since arriving at the Britannia Stadium from Houston Dynamo in July last year, Cameron has made 43 appearances in all competitions, with this his very first goal in the red and white stripes.
