USA coach Bradley happy to top qualifying group

USA national team coach Bob Bradley was delighted his team was able to finish top of their World Cup qualifying group.

USA national team coach Bob Bradley was delighted his team was able to finish top of their World Cup qualifying group.

Following a 2-2 home draw against Costa Rica in the final qualifying match, the USA retained their spot at the summit of CONCACAF qualifying which pleased Bradley immensely.

“We are very proud to win the group,” said Bradley after the Costa Rica game.

“It took a really determined strong effort by our team and we always talk about when you step on the field, you show people what you’re all about.

“Tonight is not the way you draw it up on the board before the game but it still showed the mentality, the spirit and we’re very proud of that.”
