Juergen Klinsmann could be the recipient of a hefty bonus depending on how the USA team performs in the 2014 World Cup.
Already the highest-paid US manager with a yearly salary of $2.5million, the German may rake in as much as $10.5m next year if his side wins in Brazil.
With that scenario highly unlikely, US Soccer has implemented a pay scale that will see Klinsmann pocket at least $500,000 simply for competing at WC2014.
USsoccer.com released an audited financial statement this week which said that Klinsmann will be receiving bonuses dependent on their performance but stopped short of including a breakdown of the various stages of the World Cup.
