USA boss Bradley aware of strong Slovenia

USA national team boss Bob Bradley is well aware that Friday's second World Cup match opponents Slovenia are a very strong team.

Team USA will be up against it when they take on the eastern European nation in Johannesburg according to Bradley who knows what to expect from Matjez Kek's charges.

"First, I think Slovenia is a very good team. Matjez Kek has done an excellent job. Their qualification was strong. They're very well organized, and tactically I think they're very smart," he said.

"Their defensive record in qualification was outstanding. They have a good balance in the team, good mobility and some dangerous players, guys we've watched both with Slovenia and with their club teams. We have a great deal of respect for their team and look forward to the match."

And Bradley was also anxious and excited about the fact his side were back at Ellis Park, the site of the 2009 Confederations Cup final loss to Brazil.

"Mixed emotions. It was great to be in the final, but of course still a disappointment that we weren't able to finish the game as champions," he added. "But our entire experience in South Africa has been positive, from the time we came for the Nelson Mandela Challenge through the Confederations Cup, and we're excited to be here again."
