US keeper Bill Hamid training with Swansea

American goalkeeper Bill Hamid is training with Swansea City.

The South Wales Evening Post says Hamid is training with Swansea City, but it is understood there is little chance of him becoming Bob Bradley's first signing.

Hamid, 25, is on the books of DC United, the Major League Soccer Club of whom Swansea majority shareholder Jason Levien is the managing general owner.

Their season was brought to a premature finish by a 4-2 defeat to Montreal Impact in the first-round of the MLS play-offs at the end of October and, with those duties completed, Hamid has been given the chance to train with the Premier League side.

The two-cap US international arrived in SA1 last week and is expected to complete his short stint before this weekend's fixture against Everton.
