Tickets for Manchester United's clash with Barcelona in the US are going for almost £1,000.

The Daily Mail says United take on the Catalan giants in California on July 25 at the ultra-modern Levi's Stadium.

But supporters are being asked to pay through the nose to see the kickabout, with the cheapest seats at £48.66 and the most expensive going on sale for more than £973.

While in the US, United also take on Club America at Seattle's Century Link Field.
