The Seattle Times suggests that USA national team boss Jurgen Klinsmann is looking at a re-call for Seattle Sounders forward Eddie Johnson.
The 28-year old former Fulham man last played for the US in 2010 but has only won 11 caps since 2007 suggesting his time in the national setup had come to an end.
But it is believed that Klinsmann has held talks with Sounders boss Sigi Schmid regarding Johnson who has scored 13 goals in 24 appearances this season.
The US have upcoming fixtures in October but it is believed that Klinsmann is eyeing Johnson for 2014 World Cup qualifiers in February.
