USA national team boss Juergen Klinsmann is supremely confident that Jozy Altidore is now ready to be a quality Premier League player.
The 23-year old striker is back in England's top flight with Sunderland following a previous loan spell with Hull City while he was on the books at Villarreal.
Prior to signing with Sunderland this summer, Altidore really rose to prominence with AZ Alkmaar in Holland's Eredivisie which resonated with consistent goalscoring performances at international level.
According to Klinsmann, the former New York Red Bulls youngster is now ready to flourish in the UK.
"We are all excited for Jozy getting into this Premier League season," he told USsoccer.com.
"We can watch him week in and week out. He will score his goals; I have no doubt about it.
"The professional approach he has developed in the last years will help him become a real strong Premier League player."
